So, if you've worn out those VERSE & DEFEATER albums and are hankering for that B9 new hardcore sound? Do NOT pass up GIVER. Great blend of tempos and melodies ala VERSE (it's rather uncanny), with some stellar vocals and ultra cool washes of sound; interludes with intricate guitar work and spoken/screamed vocals. This German outfit is promising as hell, and seeing that they are still playing around, I can't wait to hear more. HIGHLY recommended! Michael F.
